53 Division Prayer Walk
On May 8, 2025 53 Division participated in the Annual Prayer Walk.
The prayer-walk started in North Etobicoke 2005 by the established “Etobicoke Strategy” with the present leaders, Dr. Andrew King and Dr. Carmen Lewis in collaboration with Division 23 (Sup. Tavener). The initiative was to aid in the reduction of incident crime and continues once-a-month.
This year all Division across the GTA participated in the initiative to establish greater awareness and improve relations among TPS Divisions and local Faith-Leaders as “bridge builders” to the community, and to encourage an ongoing “Strategy” through prayerful relations.
Thank you to everyone who came out to La Barista Cafe on Wednesday April 23. It was great to see so many community members come out and connect over some coffee to talk about a shared vision for our community.

Thank you to everyone who came out to Starbucks on Saturday August 24th. It was great to see so many community members come out and connect over some coffee and treats to talk about a shared vision for our community.
