These are some of the firearms seized by the hard work of Toronto Police officers who have worked very hard throughout 2021 to keep you and your family safe. Many times risking their own lives. We have all seen and heard what these guns can do when in the wrong hands of criminals.

We all want Toronto to be the safest place to live, work and play and to accomplish this, we must continue to work together, as a team, to fight against gang and gun violence. Too many young lives lost and too many families left mourning and in pain after losing a loved one.

Policing can be fun and very rewarding but often times also very painful and traumatic. That also goes for the residents of communities hit with the most gun violence. We see the beauty of community unity but also the pain and suffering many local people experience, including children.
