A sustainable initiative “Out of Sight Out of Landfills” is happening at East York Town Centre for the month of April.
They are collecting eyeglasses (prescription / readers) and sunglasses that are no longer in use.
The drop off bin is located in center court.
This sustainable initiative is in partnership with the Lions Club of Canada. They will determine those that are usable or unusable, processed and place in inventory for distribution to optical missions around the world.
