On behalf of the 53 Division Community Police Liaison Committee (CPLC), we are pleased to invite you to participate in our first Fundraising Meet and Greet Event with a Holiday themed High Tea, to be held on Sunday, December 3th, 2023, at the Parc Ave located at 265 Davenport Rd, Toronto. The door will open at 1:00 pm, and tea service will begin at 2:00pm.

This year’s high tea promises to be an exciting event, with a range of prizes on offer for participants.   Come meet 53 division officers and mingle with our new neighbourhood community officers for the Bloor Annex Neighbourhood, over an assortment of finger sandwiches, scones, and dainty sweets.

The event is being organized to raise funds for the CPLC Student Leadership Bursary Awards program at 53 Division, as well as to promote community engagement between the police and the public. 

The CPLC in 53 Division identified youth education and employment as one of their main service priorities. One challenge facing our youth today is their lack of marketable skills for sustainable employment. Recognizing this challenge, the CPLC has established Student Leadership Bursary Awards to assist post-secondary students achieve marketable skills through further education and apprenticeship programs.

Your presence and participation in this event will be greatly appreciated and will go a long way towards making it a success. We believe that this event presents a unique opportunity to network, have fun, and give back to the community at the same time.
